Thank you to all of you who supported our DT week by buying slices of pizza last Friday.  The children worked hard to create unique pizzas that would sell under a strict budget of £5.  They learnt about running businesses, keeping accounts, managing a budget, marketing their product, marketing research, designing, re-desigining and making pizzas, as well as how to sell them afterwards.  The children collaborated so well and I hope they gained a lot from the experience.

Thank you to all of you who also sponsored your child in the skip-a-thon.  They did very well and I think they secretly enjoyed themselves.  Please could all money be sent into school by Friday 23rd June.

Thank you to all of you who helped support the school at the Summer Fair on Saturday.  It was very hot but the Year 6 WE ambassadors created some innovative games to help raise awareness of environmental and social issues.

Good luck to all those children who have been selected to represent the school this week at the Croydon Schools Athletics competition.  A number of Year 6 will be taking part in a variety of events.
