[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”lifted-both” width=”auto” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”20″ border_color=”#f60eeb” ] Dear Parents, Carers
The children have had a wonderful first week and are beginning to settle into the routines of their school day. They really enjoyed meeting each other and it was great to see their confidence grow with each new day.
Last week the children made their own coat peg labels and now know where to hang up their coats. We are encouraging their independence so please allow them to have a go at doing this on their own. A member of staff will be in the hallway to assist them, if needed. You could help by putting their water bottles in the boxes provided until they are ready to do this on their own. Please stay and settle your child into an activity before leaving.
We would also like to thank you for your patience and understanding during our two-week staggered entry programme which is aimed at ensuring your child makes a smooth transition from Nursery to Reception. If you have any questions, please come and talk to us.
We wish you well for your second week with us.
Kind Regards
Reception Team
