Week of 6th July 2020

Hello everybody,

What an exciting week. We have finished the angle work and also Floodland. What next? Well, in English we will be moving to non-fiction and first look at persuasive language in the form of a speech. This time we will dive deeper where you only scratched the surface the other week with the BBC bitesize lesson on that topic. We will use the great ideas from the Hamilton Trust and link the topic with inspirational figures like Dr Martin Luther King and Nobel Peace Price winner Malala Yousafzai. In Maths, we will enter a phase of revision. This week will see us link polygons with translations and reflection. We really hope that you will enjoy it.

Have a great week and enjoy your learning.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

The Year 5 team.
