Welcome all Year 6 parents and pupils.

Maths-We will be learning how to convert metric and imperial measurements as well as solving problems using the 24 hour clock

English-We will be completing our diary entry from the Pied Piper’s point of view.  We will also be continuing to read ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar

Science-We will be continuing to learn about Electricity

PE-We will be going swimming this Tuesday

Geography-The children will be continuing to develop their map work skills and will be focusing on Europe.

Music-The children will be continuing to learn the songs for the Christmas Carol Concert.

Maths-We will be learning how to subtract decimals and the value of each

English-We will be finishing our Newspaper report and continuing to read ‘Holes’

Science-We will be continuing our work on electricity

PSHE-We will be looking at Anti-bullying and developing strategies to avoid confrontation

PE-We will be swimming on Tuesday and taking part in gymnastics on Friday

Music-We will be learning music for the Christmas performance

RE-We will be continuing our work on Christianity

Geography-We will be continuing to develop our map reading skills

MFL-We will be developing our conversational skills in Spanish
