We are almost there!!! Keep the photos and videos coming in. Some of you are posting pictures of their entire family trying out the yoga poses together. It’s amazing! Yes, you can involve your cat or your dog if you want to. Just like Miss Ancel’s cat,Poppy, who loves to get involved!
Today’s pose is all about allowing your body and mind some stillness. It’s very useful when you feel big emotions or your brain is buzzing and you cannot focus on anything.
Have a go and let us know how you get on!

Express Yourself Yoga Challenge Day 6
[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”lifted-both” width=”auto” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”1″ border_color=”#dddddd” ]
It’s DAY 6: we are almost there!
Keep on practising the poses and posting your pictures and videos.
It’s so lovely to see many of you trying something new and expressing yourselves.
Today our new pose is all about giving a boost to our mind and body, especially when we feel like giving up, that we are not good enough. Sometimes we express this overwhelming feeling by going inwards into the blue zone and we feel sad, lonely and misunderstood. Sometimes we go outwards into the yellow zone and we feel frustrated, annoyed, unfairly judged.

Try the new pose and let us know how you get!

Suggested Week 6 Timetable for Reception Remote Learning
Please see our Material folders on Google Classroom for more information about the following special events which we will discuss with the children this week:
- Safer Internet Day: Tuesday, 9th February
- Chinese New Year : Friday 12th February. Join our live lesson on Thursday about the Chinese New Year
Key words: Animal word lists
This task on Google Classroom is for all children to complete:
- Children at school (tconsider it as a homework task).
- Children at home (as part of your remote learning tasks)
This week, the key word list folders will allow you to upload a short video clip of your child reading the words, once they have learnt each word list. Only send one video clip per word list.
If your child needs more time to learn the words on any of the lists, please continue to practise and only move onto the next list when they are ready to. There is no need to rush through the lists. It is more important that your child has a secure recognition of the tricky words in different contexts. Only send a video clip, if your child is comfortable with being filmed.
If you have previously sent in a video clip of word lists being read, you will not have to resubmit.
