Week Beginning 6th November

We have had a great first week back in Waterloo Bridge Class. The children have settled well and worked hard. This week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will begin a unit of work on multiplication and division focusing on multiplying and dividing by 3, 4 and 8.
In English we will learn about the features of a film review before writing our own review of For the Birds.
In Science we will start our new topic of light and shadow. We will sort objects and pictures into light sources and non light sources.
In topic time we will be finding out what we can learn from Varna Necropolis, a copper age site in Bulgaria.
In PE we will continue to work on our gymnastics skills and on keeping fit.

We are looking forward to our cinema visit on Monday 13th November..
