Week Beginning 4th October

This week our learning will be as follows;

In Mathematics we will be will be using our knowledge of place value to add and subtract multiples of ten, one hundred and one thousand from four digit numbers.
In English we will continue our work around the Boy at the Back of the Class. We will present our information leaflets and write questions for the main character. We will also be carrying out assessments of the children’s reading, spelling and grammar.
In science we will be exploring how high or low sounds are created.
We will continue to study history as our blocked foundation subject this week. We will learn about the Ancient Greeks.

On Monday we have visitors in school to teach the children about first aid. This will be a great opportunity for the children.

Millenium Class will have swimming on Tuesday and PE on Wednesday. Southwark Class will do PE on Wednesday and Thursday.
