In Waterloo Bridge Class this week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will work on shape. We will revise our skills in drawing, creating and describing shapes and in using angles.
In English we will explore the book Dream Big by Deloris Jordan which is based on the true story of the basketball player, Michael Jordan.
In topic time we will introduce our new topic Shaping Up. This will be enriched by weekly visits from Chase from Crystal Palace Football Club. This week Chase will run a classroom based session.
In Science we will begin work on the body.
In RE we will continue our work on Sikhism.

Sports Day is on Thursday at Croydon Arena. There will be a range of activities in the morning which all children will participate in. In the afternoon there will be sprints and long distance running races. Parents are invited to attend, for all or part of the day, and may take their child to and/or collect their child from the Arena. Please return the slip, letting us know whether you will doing this, as soon as possible.It would be lovely to see as many Waterloo Class parents as possible.
