Week beginning 4th December

In Waterloo Bridge Class this week our learning will be as follows;

• In mathematics we will be beginning a unit on measure. We will be measuring in centimetres and millimetres, converting between measurements and adding and subtracting measures.
• In English we will be working on play-scripts. We will read and identify the features of play-scripts before writing our own play-scripts of Jack and the Beanstalk.
• In science we will continue to learn about the spectrum of light and will make spinners.
• In RE we will learn about the significance of advent for Christians and the symbolism of the advent candles.
• In music we continue to work rehearse the carols for our Christmas concert.

We are looking forward to our visit to the Pantomime on Thursday morning. Please make sure that your child has a packed lunch.
