Book Focus: The Gingerbreadman

This week the children will bring the story to life when they bake their own Gingerbreadmen and explore new possibilities for this much-loved character. What adventures will he have next?

WORLD BOOK DAY: Thursday, 5th March 2020. Please join us from 8.30-9.00am for a Booky Breakfast. Bring a favourite book to share and read.

MATHS: This week we focus on comparing and composition skills for numbers within 10 to develop their understanding of addition and subtraction, using the part whole model method. [/dropshadowbox]

My Favourite Traditional Tale

A traditional tale is a story that has been told for many years, stories which parents and grandparents would have read about when they were very young too. Which is your favourite traditional tale? Can you draw a picture of your favourite traditional tale? Ask your adult to help you write a sentence about it.

READING BOOKS:

Please send in reading books ,  diaries and word lists  on group days. Please note that if a book is lost, we kindly ask that you please replace the book with a similar book as our stock of books are dwindling [/dropshadowbox]
