Week beginning 26th June 2017
This week we will be focusing on:
Maths– We shall be recapping our knowledge of the Year 5 expectations for decimals and percentages.
Reading- We shall be taking our end of year 5 reading comprehension test. Please encourage your child not to worry as the marks gained form only part of our overall teacher assessment for the year.
Writing- We shall be starting our new unit, which is linked to our history, of myths and legends. We shall also be revising the Year 5 expected level of grammar.
PE –There is no swimming this week due to our whole school photo at Whitgift. Fridays shall be our rounders sessions.
History – Mrs Adams shall be continuing with learning all about Greek art and culture.
SRE – We shall continue to learn about how our bodies change during puberty.

A huge congratulations to Oliwia who won the Under 11s Long Jump event at Croydon Athletics. She managed to jump an incredible 3.45m. Well done to all the Year 5s who represented Howard this year you should all be very proud of yourselves!
