Week Beginning 24th April 2017
In Waterloo Bridge Class this week our learning will be as follows;
- In English we will plan and write a poem on Roman Banquets.
- In mathematics we will be comparing analogue and digital times and introducing 24 hour clock.
- In reading we will be working in small groups reading with adults and carrying out other reading activities.
- In science we will begin a new topic on plants.
- In our topic time we will be using maps to locate the city of Rome and the Roman Empire.
- In RE we are learning about Guru Gobind Singh and finding out about his teachings to the Sikh community.
We enjoyed our Roman feast on Friday and are grateful to parents for their support in sending in food and arranging costumes for their children. On Thursday a group from the Museum of London will come into school to perform The Roman London Show. We are looking forward to this experience which will provide curriculum enrichment for the children.
