  • If your child is absent or if you require leave  for your child, please speak directly to the school office as they require this information for administrative purposes.
  • Please label all your child’s belongings. These include uniform, PE kits. coats and bookbags
  • Please send a named water bottle for your child with plain water only. Please place bottles in boxes provided on the table outside the classroom and please remember to take them home at the end of each day
  • Please check the weather  and send a suitable coat for outdoor wear as the children spend a considerable amount of time in the outdoor learning environment. [/dropshadowbox]

This week’s homework

Numbers in the environment

Can you look for numbers in your house or when you are outdoors over the weekend? Which numbers can you spot?

• Ask your adult to take a photo of you next to a number in your environment and stick it in your homework book. Eg. your door number.

(Note to parent: If you don’t have access to a printer you could help your child to draw a picture of themselves next to a number in the environment eg. a bus with a number on it)

OR

• You might find numbers on other things like a ticket or a shopping list that you could also stick in your book. (please don’t fill any more than 2 pages in your green homework book) [/dropshadowbox]
