Week Beginning 18th December.

Waterloo Bridge Class enjoyed our visit to the Pantomime on Wednesday and have been working hard in preparation for our Christmas performance. This week our learning will be as follows;

In Mathematics we will be working on measuring length, mass and capacity. The children will work in a carousel of practical and problem solving activities.
In English we will focus on handwriting and spelling.
In RE and art we will be designing and making Christmas cards based on the story of the three wise men. We will explore the symbolism of that story.

We look forward to seeing parents at our performance on Monday 18th December in St Andrew’s Church.

Our Christmas party is on the afternoon of Tuesday 19th December. Children may wear their own clothes and may bring a small food contribution. Please make sure that food does not contain nuts and that any meat or dairy products, not in their original packaging, are labelled.
