Week Beginning 18.9.17

In Waterloo Bridge Class this week our learning is as follows;

In mathematics we will continue our learning on place value . We will count in 2s, 4s and 8s and solve problems using place value.
In English we will focus on Stone Age Boy by Satoshi Kitamura. We will write in role and plan a retelling of the story.
In reading we will read a book of our choice each morning. We will also read regularly in small groups.
In topic time we will learn that we can find out about the past using fossils.
|In science we will investigate pushes and pulls.
In PE we will work on ball skills and on keeping fit.

Children need to bring their reading book, record and homework diary to school each day. Next week children will start running a daily mile.
