The children have had a wonderful first week and are beginning to settle into the routines of their school day. They really enjoyed meeting each other and it was great to see their confidence grow with each new day.

Last week the children made their own coat peg labels so please look out for their names as you enter the cloakroom area. Please show your child how to hang up their coats. We encourage independence so please allow them to have a go at doing this on their own with a little help where necessary. You could also do this by showing your child how to place their bookbag into the green boxes by themselves and to carry their own water bottle into class and place it in the boxes provided(near the sink area).

We would also like to thank you for your patience and understanding during our two week staggered entry programme which is aimed at ensuring your child makes a smooth transition from Nursery to Reception. If you have any questions, please come and talk to us.

We wish you well for your second week with us.

Kind Regards,

Miss Kowalczyk,  Miss Dale, Mrs Carden and Miss Evans[/dropshadowbox]
