Week Beginning 10th September 2018

We have had a great start in Waterloo Bridge Class. The children have settled into school very well. This week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will be working on place value. We will learn to count in hundreds, order numbers to 1000 and know the value of each digit in a three digit number.
In English we will begin work around a new book, Stone Age boy by Satoshi Kitamura. We will discuss and explore the story and write in role as one of the characters.
In Science we will learn to name different types of forces and recognise whether a push or a pull will act on a force.
In topic time we will begin our work on the Stone Age.
In RE we will identify what we already know about Hinduism.

On Thursday afternoon the children will be taught by Mrs Ford and Mr Govinden. Mrs Ford will teach history and Mr Govinden will teach French.
