Southwark Blog-Week beginning 15.10.18

Our Learning This Week:

Maths-We will be adding 4 digit numbers involving 1 and then multiple exchanges.

Literacy-We will be writing our own alternative versions of the Robin Hood story-The Golden Arrow this week.

Science-We will be continuing our topic on teeth and the digestive system. This week we will be designing our own enquiry about tooth decay.

Topic-We will be continuing our topic on Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, focusing on sagas and writing letters to thank Peter Quirk for his amazing and informative visit (See separate post for pictures)

Other information

Crazy Chicken’s group won our marble competition with an impressive 300 marbles this week! Merit cards were given to George, Mariah and Damara. Leen is our reader of the week. Well done!
