May half term

I hope that you all have a lovely half term The children have worked very hard this half term and have really impressed me with their hard working ethic! I can’t believe that we now only have just a half term left! This school year seems to have flown by.

Half term homework is for the children to continue using mathletics, reading, they have some maths shape homework and also some phonics homework to prepare them for the phonics screening test in June.

The next half term is going to be a busy one and always seems to go fast. See below some dates for your diary of events that are going to be taking place at school during the next half term.

Important information/ dates

Monday 5^th June: INSET day

Tuesday 6^th June: children return to school at 9am.

Thursday 8^th June: KS2 Sports Day

Week beginning 12^th June: 12th/13th – is the phonics screening test. All week is Healthy schools week.

Saturday 17^th June: Summer Fayre

Tuesday 27^th June: Whole school photo at Whitgift School

Tuesday 11^th July: KS1 Sports Day

Thursday 20^th July: Last day for children 3.30pm finish.
