It’s RE week!

What are we learning this week?

English – 

This half term, our English lessons will be centred around our core text Rooftoppers, by Katherine Rundell. Our learning objectives for this week are:

• To identify and evaluate the key features of a newspaper report.
• To plan a newspaper report.
• To write a newspaper report.
• To edit and up-level my work.

This half term, we shall be continuing our class read Holes, by Louis Sachar.

Maths – 

Lesson 1	LO: I can add mixed number fractions with unrelated denominators.
Lesson 2	144 Club Quiz Arithmetic assessment (30 mins)
Lesson 3	LO: I can subtract fractions less than one with related and unrelated denominators.
Lesson 4	LO:  I can subtract fractions greater than one with related denominators.
Lesson 5	LO: I can subtract mixed number fractions with unrelated denominators.

DT –

 This week, we shall be evaluating existing, popular brands of cookies. Then, in teams, we shall be researching a recipe. Then, we shall be working out which ingredients we shall need to gather for next week.
