Maths – We shall be looking a:

Place value in 7-digit numbers (PV + and -, compare numbers)
Add and subtract 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10,000, 100,000 and 1,000,000 to/from 7-digit numbers
Place 7-digit nos on number lines and round to the nearest 10,000, 100,000 or 1,000,000
Calculate intervals across zero

English – We shall be writing our flashback stories, based on the clip ‘The Piano’ from The Literacy Shed.

Science – We shall be continuing our topic of Light. We shall be addressing misconceptions and looking at shadows.

PE – There is no swimming this week. Normal PE lessons return this Friday.

Reading – We shall be starting our new class text, Holes by Louis Sachar. This week, we shall be completing pre-reading comprehension tasks.
