Dear Parents and Carers!

School starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3:05pm. 

Your child’s Mathletics and Google classroom passwords are attached at the back of your child’s yellow reading record book.

We are continuing to learn with lots of adult led carpet sessions in the classroom and free flow & choice activities indoors and out doors.

Thank you for supporting your child’s homework. Please return it by Wednesday 6th October.

Our learning for this week………

Reading:

Thank you for reading with your child. We will change the books on Friday. Please return your child’s reading book back with your comments on your child’s yellow reading records books. Reading books will not be changed without your comments.

Phonics:

In our phonic groups, we are revising all the sounds that we have learnt so far.

Maths

We are learning to count within 100 and say what is happening to the tens digits when counting in tens. We will continue to count forwards and backwards in ten using number lines and findout what number comes before and what number comes after.

Science:

This week we will continue to learn about the 5 senses.

PE:

We have PE on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please send your children with their PE kits to school on these days.

Sports and P.E. Kit (Boys and Girls):

Blue school T-shirt with logo
Shorts black or navy
Black plimsolls. Trainers can be worn for outdoor sports.

 

RHE ( Relationship and Health Education)

We use JIGSAW across our School to develop children’s skills, knowledge and understanding as well as emotional literacy.

We are going to learn lesson 2-  ‘Being me in My World’ -Understand the rights and responsibilities as a member of my class and know that I belong to my class.

 

Geography:

This week we will share our knowledge about our local area, Croydon.
