What are we learning this week?

Maths

This week, we shall be learning long multiplication!

 

English

Continuing with our Power of Reading unit, Pax, we shall be debating and discussing which sentimental and [practical items we would take o our journey. We shall also be plotting Peter’s ‘graph of emotion’ to evaluate the different emotional stages of his life, so far. Finally, we shall be story mapping out Chapter 3 – with a specific focus on fronted adverbials to build cohesion.

Music

I can compose a rhythm in 4/4 time.

Science

Continuing with electricity we will be creating circuits and learning what the key components are.

 

PE

Year 6’s PE days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Tuesday, we shall have dance and on Wednesdays we shall have Tennis.
