Homework – Week ending 24th April 2020

Here is a range of activities you should complete over the weekend and return to us by Wednesday, 29th April 2020.

Maths:

  • Complete the tasks set on Mathletics.

  • Complete the little counting challenge. If the numbers are too difficult, you are allowed to choose easier starting points if your parents agree.

English: Write a diary entry for one day of the weekend. Make it exciting even though it might not be the most exciting weekend.

History: Since everything that you are doing at the moment is in some way “homework”, please treat this as a dive into the link between Ancient Greece and today. Many of our Sciences are based on discoveries and thoughts of outstanding Scientists and Philosophers from the era we have looked at. Therefore, please create a factfile on a personality of your choice. Once I receive them, they will be shared on Dojo and the blog so that everyone of you can learn more from the others. Choose from:

Pythagoras, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Hippocrates, Aristarchus, Euclid, Archimedes, Eratosthenes,

Extension: Create an overview with images of other key inventions by Ancient Greeks.
