Welcome to QE2 and Tower Bridge class blogs.  For the time being both classes will use the same page while we wait for the new page to be created.

We hope you all enjoyed the Summer break and are pleased your children are back in school ready to learn.

We would like to introduce ourselves to you.

Tower Bridge class-Miss Handley is the class teacher and Mrs Jackson is the TA.

QE2-Mr Jalloh is the class teacher and Miss Bryan and Ms Jones are the TA’s.

Both classes also have a range of other adults teaching them for different subjects.

Both classes have started very positively and seem eager for the challenges ahead.

Please be aware that your child will have homework every night which includes reading for at least 30 mins every day and learning all their multiplication and corresponding division facts.

There is a lot to cover this year and while the adults will do everything to prepare them for the challenges ahead, a lot of independent learning will need to be completed at home too.  There will need to be a commitment by both parents and children to complete work at home as well as in school so that they have the best opportunities to excel this year.

We look forward to the journey we take together.
