Welcome back after the Easter holidays! I hope you all had a restful break and are now ready for the hard climb to the end of the year.

This term is jam packed with things going on, so make sure you keep checking the class blog to keep up-to-date!

This week we will be learning:

Maths-Revision of formal written methods for all 4 operations as well as problem solving strategies

English-We will be continuing to revise strategies ready for the Reading SAT.  We will also be starting to look at a new genre of writing as well as reading continuing to read ‘The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas’.

Science-WE will be continuing to look at forces

PE-We will developing our fitness skills as well as carrying out boxercise and dance

RE-We will be looking at the story of Easter from a Christian perspective

SATS week-13th-17th May

‘Wear it Wild’ day is coming up on Friday 3rd May

What will we be learning?

Maths-We will be learning how to find the perimeter of polygons

English-We will be writing our explanation about the heart

PSHE-We will be looking at keeping ourselves safe

PE-We will be participating in Boxercise and dance

RE-We will be learning about Buddhism

Spanish-We will be learning about conversational language in Spanish

 

Important Information

The last day of school is Friday 5th April.  There are then 2 weeks holiday.

We return to school on Tuesday 23rd April
