We are going to begin a new narrative by focusing on a painting entitled ‘Walking Through the Rain’ by Rachel Dyer. The children will develop imaginative ideas through paired talk and class discussion using the picture as a stimulus. They will generate questions and begin to plan ideas for a narrative.

In Maths we will be looking at number bonds to 10/20 using part/ part whole. We will also focus on missing numbers eg. 13+_=20,  _+12=20. We are going to show, how to use number lines to find the answer. We will recap subtractions.
